Defect-Induced Magnetic Skyrmion in a Two-Dimensional Chromium Triiodide Monolayer

نویسندگان

چکیده

Chromium iodide monolayers, which have different magnetic properties in comparison to the bulk chromium iodide, been shown form skyrmionic states applied electromagnetic fields or Janus-layer devices. In this work, we demonstrate that spin-canted solutions can be induced into monolayer by select substitution of atoms with isovalent impurities. Several concentrations and spatial configurations halide substitutional defects are selected probe coupling between local defect-induced geometric distortions orientation moments. This work provides atomic-level insight how atomically precise chemical doping used create control complex patterns layers lays out foundation for investigating field- geometric-dependent similar two-dimensional materials.

Mechanical behaviour of motion for the two-dimensional monolayer system‎

‎In this paper we study the dynamics of the 2D-motion of a particle of monolayer‎. First we consider the usual physical time component and the plan manifold R2, having the polar coordinates. Then a geometric approach to nonholonomic constrained mechanical systems is applied to a problem from the two dimensional geometric dynamics of the Langmuir-Blodgett monolayer‎. We consider a constraint sub...

Magnetic skyrmion transistor: skyrmion motion in a voltage-gated nanotrack

Magnetic skyrmions are localized and topologically protected spin configurations, which are of both fundamental and applied interests for future electronics. In this work, we propose a voltage-gated skyrmion transistor within the well-established framework of micromagnetics. Its operating conditions and processes have been theoretically investigated and demonstrated, in which the gate voltage c...

Skyrmion Superfluidity in Two-Dimensional Interacting Fermionic Systems

In this article we describe a multi-layered honeycomb lattice model of interacting fermions which supports a new kind of parity-preserving skyrmion superfluidity. We derive the low-energy field theory describing a non-BCS fermionic superfluid phase by means of functional fermionization. Such effective theory is a new kind of non-linear sigma model, which we call double skyrmion model. In the bi...

Skyrmion-like states in two- and three-dimensional dynamical lattices.

We construct, in discrete two-component systems with cubic nonlinearity, stable states emulating Skyrmions of the classical field theory. In the two-dimensional case, an analog of the baby Skyrmion is built on the square lattice as a discrete vortex soliton of a complex field [whose vorticity plays the role of the Skyrmion's winding number (WN)], coupled to a radial "bubble" in a real lattice f...

Magnetic properties of the Skyrmion gas in two dimensions.

The classical ferromagnet is analyzed in two dimensions via a mean-field treatment of the CP model valid in the limit of low temperature and of weak magnetic field. At high skyrmion densities, we find that the magnetization begins to decrease linearly with temperature, but it then crosses over to a Curie-law at higher temperature. The comparison of these results with recent Knight-shift experim...
